Waterpark resort, why not?

Sorry for no post yesterday, the sick bug attacked me and I was stuck in bed the whole day. Anyway,I’ve always wondered why El Paso doesn’t have a huge resort waterpark like SchlitterbahnWet n Wild is nice, but too small.  It has no appeal as you drive by it on I-10.  wetnwild2

There is enough land in the El Paso area to build a waterpark resort.  Schitterbahn is building one in Kansas City of all places.  I appreciate Wet n Wild for taking the chance on the El Paso/Juarez/Las Cruces area so long ago, but it is time for a change, and maybe they would be willing to make it.

Quality of life is one of the tools that people look at when thinking about relocating.  Now is a resort waterpark going to be the deal breaker, probably not, but it would help.

Resorts like Schlitterbahn and Six Flags are places that I grew up with in San Antonio.  I just see so much potential for the El Paso area and I would like to see it develop here because I know it would work.  You can’t beat over 300 days of sun, can you?

My name is David and I am living El Paso.
