Took a trip downtown to snap a few pictures of the courthouse. Construction is coming along well. I spoke with one of the supervisors there who said that the project should be completed by October 2009. Enjoy the pictures.
David, I like your pictures they are really cool
and they keep me updated with El Paso’s progress towards the future.
I hope you keep taking them since some of us live far away from El Paso to see for ourselfs
how my old home town is growing.
Thanks

Al, thank you for taking the time to check out Living El Paso. I apologize for being late in getting back to you. I was out of town this weekend. Glad you are keeping track of the future of El Paso. There are a lot of ups and downs, but it appears that El Paso is going to come out on top. I saw that the facacde is going up, so I will try and take a few pics when I am down there.
Thank you very much David, I’ve been watching this project through some web cam website since it’s early stages, and I also have notice that it is a very tall building for an eight story edifice
it does make a notable difference on the downtown El Paso skyline.
But your photos brings the images alot closer and with all sorts of details.
I’ll be looking at those web cams and see what the Mills/Plaza projects and the new Childrens Hospiatl start taking shape, have a great holiday.

I didn’t know there were webcams for these projects. Can you send me the link? It is a very large building. The architecture is definitely unique and will transform that area. I will try and make it downtown to take some more pics this week. I’m headed to San Antonio for Christmas next week. Thank you again for reading!

As a last resort, bring up city data forum El Paso, go to page 11 topic, Want Pictures of El Paso, scroll down till you find High!Lonesome
(formerly me) the link is also posted there from me, and it still works.
I stay intouch with the web master, as these web cams are provided by a grant from the EPA, they were not intended for the the actual construction viewing of the new courthouse but it’s very visable as they have cameras posted atop Ranger Peak, but are currently out of order, but will return soon.
There are also cameras posted atop the Chelsea tower in central El Paso, these cameras are working now and you click on to any picture you want, Chelsea 6 looks really good, and at nights you can see the star on the mountain on Chelsea 1. let me know if you have any problems trying to access these sites, good luck?
