Let’s do this one in pictures with a tiny bit of commentary…or maybe a lot of commentary.
Love the look of the Oasis but there are a few aspects that need to be addressed. First, I think they need to do an overhaul of the menu. The food just isn’t there. Also, the time it takes to get appetizers is way too long. There were only a couple of servers, who were clearly overwhelmed, but they did the best they could with the large crowd that was there. Also, maybe they could rearrange the seating inside…seems to be some wasted space.
Next stop was the Plaza for the 730 showing of Legally Blonde with the wife. No complaints with the Plaza…beautiful as ever.
Sorry for the bad cell phone pic….show was fun and the cast got a standing ovation at the end…. Theater looked packed.
In the end, it turned out to be a great overall date night in downtown El Paso. As development continues downtown, I know there will be more choices to choose from for dinner.
Was anyone else downtown for the show? What are the challenges and advantages to planning a date or excursion to downtown El Paso for an evening?
My name is David and I am living El Paso.
