Revealing Whole Foods To El Paso Tweet?

I tweet Whole Foods at times…mostly telling them that they need to build a store here…well this was  a reply to a tweet that I sent them a couple days ago.  Am I over analyzing or does this sound like they will be building a store here soon?

So there it is…I think they are on their way and its just a matter of logistics…if anyone is truly in the know…you can post a comment on here anyomnously if you like :)

My name is David and I am living El Paso.

David, I hope that you’re right although I do know that they are closing at least one of their oldest stores in Richardson (north Dallas) probably this year. It could be that they are closing the oldest one in Dallas, that one on Greenville, very small. The Richardson store is in an old established neighborhood and very busy, a cool neighborhood hangout but small. WF is on the stock market, and we all know what that means. Hopefully the person who answered even knows where El Paso is :) It would be fantastic to have a first-rate store here. Sprouts is ok, but Sun Harvest did some things better. Keep tweeting, and let us know. Thank you!

I see a lot more competition for them up in Dallas than in El Paso. If they came here, I think they would own the marketplace….even though their prices would be higher. I enjoy Sprouts to a point, same with Toucan’s in Las Cruces.

I would LOVE it if they’d come to El Paso. Or Las Cruces–I’d drive just to go there. If there was one close by, though, I’d eat lunch there everyday. El Paso seriously needs access to the healthier foods!!

I agree! The want is out there from citizens….and I think the companies are starting to hear us…and the developers who are trying to lure them to their new projects that will happen over the next few years in the El Paso area.

Building a new one just a couple of miles from our house in San Antonio. Heb is practically
on every corner here .. Just sayin’…… :)

    • LEP says:

true…but when you talk to people in San Antonio they all wish they had more choices the just HEB which is why Trader Joes will probably do well there when they open. The cities with the best grocery options are Dallas and Houston…at least in Texas.

This is most excellent! They could always give us one from ABQ…no reason for them to have two of them while we starve.
