PCC Streetcars in El Paso…What are they like?

If you have been paying attention to the local news, then you probably have heard about the proposed street car line from Glory Road transit center to downtown.  There was a discussion about refurbishing old/original PCC trolleys (Presidents Conference Committee)

To the right, you will see the old PCC street cars as they stand now.  The end goal is to restore these so that they can be put back into service when the El Paso rail is put into place.  I was curious about what these street cars are like in the inside…so I went to the best source on the internet…YouTube.  :)

Below are a few videos that show the restored PCC street cars in San Diego.

What are your thoughts?  Will you ride the new route once it is in place?

My name is David and I am living El Paso.
