I have never been to a balloon festival and I am thinking the KLAQ one this weekend will be a great opportunity. Really looking forward to checking out the Darth Vader balloon. For more information visit, visit KLAQ.com

I was driving to a weekly meeting this past Thursday and was listening to Buzz Adams. They were out in Austin for SXSW. They had a game going on called bum or band (think that was the name) Each listener had to call in and listen to some sound bytes of people answering a few questions. From there, you had to guess whether they were in a band or not.
I decided to call in and got on. Since I love listening to the klaq morning show, I was pretty excited. I ended up winning…even though Mando said I didn’t. So I won some tickets to a concert at Club 101…but never picked them up.
So if anyone would like some tickets, go on over to the klaq studios and say that I said you can have them.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Check out this article on KLAQ 95.5 in the El Paso Times. Thank you Buzz Adams for making my mornings enjoyable in El Paso since moving here from San Antonio.

A couple months ago I wrote about how I listen to Buzz Adams on KLAQ in the mornings. I finally found a show in the afternoons that I enjoy. I usually turn it to 104.3 FM and listen to the 5 O’clock Bambucha. I think I really just like to say the word Bambucha…but I really don’t know what it means. I tried urban dictionary but nothing relevant came up. If anyone can find out what a Bambucha is, just leave a comment for me.
In KLAQ news, I still listen to them every chance I get. They make mornings so much easier for me. I will say this, all the KLAQ crew has to be there for show to be great. When Buzz was gone for a week it just wasn’t the same. When Teresa was gone for one day, it still wasn’t the same. They all play off of eachother so well and without one of the crew…it just doesn’t work as well. I found some more Q videos online so enjoy them. Thanks to KLAQ and ennoidyam for uploading these to YouTube.

It’s always hard to find a morning show that is consistently good and also local. San Antonio had 99.5 Kiss which was good sometimes and Waco had none. After cruising the dial for a few days, I turned to 95.5. It was like I had found Howard Stern’s twin brother. Buzz Adams & his crew at KLAQ have fulfilled my need for a quality morning show.
Great voices, great commentary/interviews, great skits, and they hold nothing back. Everytime I listen I am laughing. If you are up in the morning from 6-10, turn the dial to The Q, you’ll be happy you did.
